
Ports Snap Losing Streak with 7-1 Win

The Stockton Ports snapped a five-game losing streak on Wednesday night with a 7-1 victory over the Visalia Rawhide. Ports starter Rob Gilliam earned his 11th win of the season, tying him for the league lead with San Jose Giants starter, Craig Westcott.
Petey Paramore hit his fifth home run of the season for the Ports in the third inning off David Holmberg. Leonardo Gil had a strong night at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Rashun Dixon was also solid offensively, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two batted in.
The Ports look to win two in a row tomorrow night as Ports lefty Jake Brown takes the mound against the Diamondbacks highly touted prospect Trevor Bauer at 7:05 p.m.
