
Playoff Dates Announced for Opening Round Series

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles have announced the dates and times of their playoff series with the Ontario Reign to begin the 2015 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs. The best-of-seven series will begin with Games One and Two at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario on Thursday, April 16th and Friday, April 17th. The complete list of dates is detailed below (season ticket holders, please note which ticket will be needed for each home game of the opening round series).
Game 1 - Colorado at Ontario - Thursday, April 16 at 8:00pm
Game 2 - Colorado at Ontario - Friday, April 17 at 8:00pm
Game 3 - Ontario at Colorado - Sunday, April 19 at 7:05pm - Blue Round 1 Game A Ticket
Game 4 - Ontario at Colorado - Wednesday, April 22 at 7:05pm - Blue Round 1 Game B Ticket
Game 5* - Ontario at Colorado - Friday, April 24 at 7:05pm - Blue Round 1 Game C Ticket
Game 6* - Colorado at Ontario - Monday, April 27 - 8:00pm
Game 7* - Colorado at Ontario - Tuesday, April 28 - 8:00pm

This is the first-ever meeting between the Eagles and Reign in the post-season, with Colorado holding an all-time record of 16-17-2-2 record against Ontario, including a 7-5-0-1 mark this season. Trent Daavettila leads the Eagles against the Reign this season, having posted 16 points in 13 games. Judd Blackwater paces Ontario with 13 points in 13 meetings with Colorado.
The winner of the series will face the winner of the best-of-seven series between the Idaho Steelheads and the yet-to-be-determined 4th seed in the Pacific Division, which is currently held by the Utah Grizzlies, with the Alaska Aces three points behind in 5th place in the division.
