August 26, 2011 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
Pittsfield Colonials News Release
PITTSFIELD, MA - With more inclement weather expected on Saturday prior to the arrival of Hurricane Irene, the Pittsfield Colonials have moved the game time for Saturday, August 27 to 1 p.m.
The move falls in line with other games in the Can-Am League, which were also moved up to become afternoon tilts to ensure that they would get played prior to any storms.
The Colonials take on the Newark Bears in a doubleheader tonight (Friday), beginning at 6 p.m. Miguel Flores (3-9, 4.24) and Tim Stronach (3-2, 3.42) will get the starts for Pittsfield against Alex Smith (9-2, 3.14) and Greg Lane (1-0, 2.35) for the Bears. The pregame show on WTBR FM begins at 5:40 p.m.
