WILMINGTON, Del. - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans' offense faltered in the series finale against the Wilmington Blue Rocks on Monday afternoon in a 1-0 loss from Frawley Stadium.

Javier Assad (2-5) started for the Pelicans (18-34) and allowed the lone run of the game in the first inning. After Blake Perkins walked and stole second for Wilmington (32-19), an error allowed him to come into score and make it 1-0. Holden Capps threw the last two innings for Wilmington, earning his first save of the season.
