Lehigh Valley got the best of Ramon Garcia in his spot start as the Mud Hens fell 10-6 at Fifth Third Field Wednesday.

Jordan Lennerton got the Hens on the board early in the first when he connected for his 12th home run of the year, a two-run blast to opposite field to give the Mud Hens an early 2-0 lead.

The IronPigs got a run back in the third when Cody Asche singled with two outs to score Troy Hanzawa and cut the Hens' advantage to 2-1. The IronPigs then loaded the bases for Josh Fields, who cleared them with a double to give the visitors a 4-2 lead.

After a scoreless fourth inning, the Iron Pigs added another run after Darin Ruf knocked one deep on to Monroe Street to extend Lehigh Valley's lead to 5-2. Derrick Mitchell then doubled in two in the inning to push the lead to 7-2.

Garcia struggled in his spot start for the Mud Hens, allowing seven runs on 12 hits over five innings of work. Brayan Villarreal also struggled in relief for Toledo, allowing three runs in 1/3 an inning of work to concede a 10-2 lead to Lehigh Valley.

Ben Guez led a comeback in the sixth inning with a double in the gap to score two and cut the deficit to 10-4. Danny Dorn then added his own RBI double in the seventh, and Danny Worth singled in a run in the eighth to make it 10-6, but the IronPigs bullpen managed to shut the door for their second straight victory over Toledo.

The Mud Hens will look to get back on track tomorrow behind RHP Shawn Hill at 7:00 p.m. in the final game of the series at Fifth Third Field.
