Calgary Vipers News Release
Calgary Vipers pitcher Beau Dannemiller is no longer unaccounted for.
The Vipers learned on Thursday that Dannemiller, AWOL since Monday morning is apparently back home in the United States.
The pitcher disappeared from Calgary International Airport on Monday morning after the Vipers flight to Chicago was delayed. Teammates indicate he was with them when they reclaimed their luggage for a later flight but nobody recalls seeing him afterwards.
"The Vipers would like to thank everyone in the media for getting out the message that we needed to hear from him", said Vipers team president Peter Young. "Even though we all suspected Beau was all right it was very important to rule out all other alternatives."
