Pinckney Hits Milestone, AirHogs Roast T-Bones

Kansas City- Grand Prairie AirHogs needed only three runs in game two against the Kansas City T-Bones Tuesday night, winning 3-2 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. For the Hogs Brandon Pinckney only had one hit in the game but it was a big one. Pinckney hit a single in the top of the sixth, his 1,000th career hit. Going a perfect 4-for-4 on the night was Brian Myrow. Myrow also scored one of the three runs. Frazier Hall batted one in and went 2-for-4 in the game. Hall and the other two members of the bottom of the order drove in all the runs for the AirHogs.

Improving to 2-0 on the season is Jorge Lugo who went five innings for Grand Prairie. He gave up two runs to the T-Bones. Lugo also struck out five batters that he faced. The rest of the pitchers combined to give up no runs the rest of the game. Patrick Mincey got one inning of work and the save for the game. Mincey, and the three others who pitched for the AirHogs combined for six strikeouts raising the total for the game to 11 strikeouts.

The T-Bones and AirHogs will meet one more time. They will play at CommunityAmerica Ballpark Wednesday morning at 11:05.
