Pigs Try to Earn Split with Tides

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to earn a split of their four-game series with the Norfolk Tides on Sunday afternoon. First pitch from Harbor Park is set for 1:05 p.m.

RHP Phillippe Aumont (2-4, 2.58) gets the ball for the Pigs in the series finale. The right-hander was dealt the loss on Tuesday at Durham after he allowed six runs (three earned) on seven hits while walking three and fanning seven in 5.2 IP. Aumont is 1-3 with a 4.26 ERA in his last five starts. Opponents are batting just .116 (8-69) with runners in scoring position against Aumont this year.

RHP Eddie Gamboa (4-3, 3.60) will be on the bump for the Tides Sunday afternoon on short rest. Gamboa got a no-decision at Gwinnett on Wednesday when he surrendered four runs (three earned) on six hits to go along with a walk and two strikeouts in six innings of work. Left-handed hitters are batting .154 (12-78) against Gamboa so far in 2015.

After going 3-5 on Saturday, Pigs INF/OF Russ Canzler has now hit safely in his last five games. In that span, Canzler is hitting .400 (10-25)-2-7 with three doubles and four runs scored.
