Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to pick up their fifth straight win on Wednesday night when they continue a four-game set with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park.
RHP Gregory Infante (2-0, 4.40) gets the ball for the Pigs on Wednesday night. Infante's last outing came with Double-A Reading on Saturday at Erie when he gave up two runs on four hits while walking one and fanning one in 1.1 IP. The right-hander is 3-2 with a 2.97 ERA in 23 G with Reading this season and will be making his first start since August 9, 2009 with High-A Winston-Salem.
LHP Dietrich Enns (4-2, 1.51) will toe the rubber for the RailRiders opposite Infante. On Friday at Pawtucket, Enns was dealt the tough-luck loss after allowing one run on four hits to go along with two walks and a strikeout in six innings of work. The Central Michigan product has allowed two earned runs or less in all seven of his starts with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Enns was 7-2 with a 1.93 ERA in 12 GS with Double-A Trenton this season.
After delivering the go-ahead RBI single on Tuesday night, Pigs OF Cedric Hunter has now hit safely in six straight contests. During that stretch, Hunter is hitting .471-2-7 (8-17, 2B, 3 R). For the season, the Decatur, Ga., native is hitting .388-2-34 (26-67) with runners in scoring position.
The first 3,000 fans 21 and older in attendance will receive an IronPigs Stemless Wine Glass courtesy of Reichel Funeral Home.
