In the eighth, off right-hander Stephen Johnson, Argenis Diaz teed off and made it 7-4 Mud Hens. The Mud Hens added two more with a Moya two-run blast to make it 9-4.

The Bats wouldn't go down quietly as they put up one more run in the eighth inning to inch to a four-run deficit. For the second straight day, Hernan Iribarren pitched for the Bats and on his second pitch induced an inning-ending double play.

The Bats and Mud Hens will complete this five-game split series tomorrow at 7:05 at Louisville Slugger Field. Left-hander Amir Garrett (2-2, 3.31) will face lefty Daniel Norris (4-7, 4.88).
