Wheeling, WV - Nailers center Casey Pierro-Zabotel will join host Bob Rotruck and head coach Greg Puhalski for tonight's edition of the Nailers Power Hour Presented by Pepsi live from Generations Pub and Restaurant in Wheeling. The show airs Thursdays from 6-7pm on The Mix 97.3 and the Nailers Hockey Network presented by Amica Insurance.
Coach Puhalski will recap the team's recent 3 game winning streak as well as their stretch of 7 wins in their last 8 games. The Nailers beat North Division leading Cincinnati twice this past week including a 5-3 win at Cincy on Tuesday night.
Pierro-Zabotel is one of the hottest of the Nailers scorers lately. Since December 1st he is leading all ECHL rookies in scoring with 19 points (7-12-19). More recently, he's on an 8 game point streak (3-8-11). The 21 year old rookie from Ashcroft, BC was the leading scorer in the Western League last year with the Vancouver Giants with 115 points including 79 assists. He was the 3rd round choice of the Penguins in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
We'll also preview the Nailers upcoming weekend. Wheeling has three home games this weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday against Toledo, Johnstown and Elmira.
It's an hour of fun and Nailers talk on the Nailers Hockey Network presented by Amica Insurance with the Nailers Power Hour Presented by Pepsi live from Generations in Wheeling Thursday night at 6!
Saturday night is Nailers Ski-Cap night against the Johnstown Chiefs for the first 2500 fans courtesy of WesBanco.
