Philadelphia Union To Host Union Day August 11 in South Philadelphia

Chester, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that the club will host Union Day at Capitolo Playground in South Philadelphia on Sunday, August 11 from 3-7 p.m., with free games, skills stations and coaching seminars hosted by Union players and technical staff available to members in attendance.

Union Day will feature an in-depth coaching clinic from 4-6 p.m. on youth development, hosted by Philadelphia Union Technical and Academy staff members, including Philadelphia Union Assistant Coach Jim Curtin as well as defender Chris Albright. From 3:30-6:30 p.m., children ages six and older will have opportunities to participate in interactive skills stations facilitated by Leo Fernandes, Roger Torres, Cristhian Hernandez, Fabinho and other Philadelphia Union players scheduled to appear (all appearances are subject to change).

Philadelphia Union have hosted Union Days this year in Lehigh Valley and Northeast Philadelphia, as hundreds of local youth players and coaches were in attendance to participate in various games and activities.
