D.C. United News Release
Washington, D.C. - D.C. United today announced new season ticket plans for the 2014 season. Benefits include new pricing options, priority access to purchase tickets in a new stadium, a flexible exchange policy on unused tickets and Champions Club access. For a full list of benefits, click here.
Starting at $88, plans now include two new pricing categories that are available for the upcoming 2014 season: corner and supporters midfield sections. While the supporters midfield section will allow fans to experience the passion and enthusiasm of the nearby Black-and-Red supporters, both sections will provide additional options in price categories for 2014.
Those with Full Season Tickets in 2014 will save a minimum of 20% as compared to day-of-game tickets and are eligible for an interest-free payment plan of up to 12 months. While Full Season Ticket Holders will be invited to a minimum of four exclusive events in 2014, all plan holders will receive exclusive pre-sale opportunities for additional soccer events at RFK Stadium. In 2013, plan holders were given the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the U.S. Men's National Team's Centennial Celebration match against Germany, an international friendly between Chelsea FC and AS Roma, as well as a U.S. Women's National Team game versus Mexico.
Other options include the Half Season Plan and the Mini Plan, which also provide fans with cost savings and match-selection privileges. Half Seasons comprise nine total matches - the 2014 home opener and eight matches of a plan holder's choice. The Mini Plan includes the home opener and three self-selected matches. While the Half Season Plan provides such benefits as a flexible exchange policy on unused tickets and discounted parking options, both include priority access to pre-sales and savings on ticket service fees, among other special opportunities.
