Philadelphia Union to Host Party on the Plaza Before Game vs. LA

Chester, Pa. (May 9, 2013) - Philadelphia Union announced today that the club will host Party on the Plaza from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, prior to the match against the two-time defending MLS Cup champions, LA Galaxy. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to PPL Park to enjoy discounts on food and drink in addition to live music entertainment.
As fans get ready to cheer on the Union, they are invited to take advantage of special food and beverage discounts, including $1 hot dogs, $2 water, soda, iced tea and lemonade, $3 burgers and $4 draft beers. Live music and entertainment will be available in the Toyota Plaza.
Military members and college students that present valid IDs will also be able to purchase discounted tickets for the match at the box office, starting at $20.
LA Galaxy are the two-time defending MLS Cup Champions, featuring players such as the all-time leading scorer for the U.S. Men's National Team, Landon Donovan, and captain of the Republic of Ireland's national team, Robbie Keane.
Kickoff between Philadelphia Union and the LA Galaxy is set for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15 and will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet.
