
Phantoms to open East Division Semifinals on Friday

(PHILADELPHIA, April 17, 2004) - After compiling the second-highest wins total in club history, the Philadelphia Phantoms are set to begin their run to the 2005 Calder Cup next weekend vs. the Norfolk Admirals in the East Division Semifinals.
The Phantoms, who finished second in the East Division with a 48-25-3-4 record (103 points), will host Games One and Two of the best-of-seven series on Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23. Both games will start at 7:05 p.m. at the Wachovia Center.
Norfolk, which is the third seed in the East, will host Games Three and Four on Monday, April 25 and Wednesday, April 27, as well as Game Five, if necessary, on Friday, April 29. All three games begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Norfolk Scope.
If necessary, Games Six and Seven in Philadelphia will be on dates to be determined.

The Phantoms went 4-6 vs. the Admirals in 2004-05 and will be meeting Norfolk in the East Division Semifinals for the second year in a row. Last season, Philadelphia captured the series in six games before losing to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the division finals.
Individual tickets for Games A & B of the upcoming Calder Cup Playoffs, as well as 16-game strips for the entire playoffs, are on sale. Walk-up prices for individual Phantoms playoff games are $16, $20 and $21 for adults, and $10 for all children 14 and under. However, fans ordering tickets in advance can save $1 per ticket off the walk-up price.
