PURPLE JERSEY AUCTION TO TAKE PLACE ON SUNDAY

The first Phantoms jersey auction of the season will take place following the game on Sunday, March 6 when the team's 2003-04 purple third jerseys are put up on the block for charity. The auction will take place in Bullies immediately after the contest with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and will feature those players who were on the team last season auctioning off their jerseys in person. The next jersey auction is scheduled for Friday, March 18 when the team auctions off special St. Patrick's Day jerseys that will be worn that night.

ADOPT-A-PET NIGHT ON SUNDAY

The Phantoms are again teaming up with the People-Pet Partnership for the third-annual Adopt-A-Pet Night on Sunday, March 6. Adoptable dogs, cats and rabbits will be on the concourse throughout the game to meet prospective owners. In addition, kids can get their picture taken with a Sesame Street Live star, as that show will run at the Wachovia Center from March 9-13.

KIDS RUN THE SHOW NIGHT ON SUNDAY

This Sunday is also the Phantoms' annual Kids Run The Show Night. The winning children 14 and under who signed up last weekend will have the chance to join the Phantoms' marketing, sales, public relations, operations, fan development, game production and vice president staffs for a night.

SATURDAY'S GAME TO BE WEBCAST LIVE

Saturday's East Division match-up between the Phantoms and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m. will be broadcast live via streaming video over the Internet through B2 networks. Fans with high-speed Internet access can purchase the game for just $6 through a link that will be posted on www.phantomshockey.com the day of the game.

PHANTOMS MAKE SCHOOL APPEARANCES FOR READ ACROSS AMERICA

The Phantoms will once again be making several visits to area schools for Read Across America Week. On Tuesday, March 1, Stephen Wood and B.J. Abel will be reading to the sixth grade students at the Warren E. Sooy Elementary School at 601 N. Fourth St. in Hammonton, N.J. On Friday, Joey Hope will visit the Zane-North Elementary School at 801 Stokes Ave. in Collingswood, N.J.

HOLMGREN ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" ON WEDNESDAY

Flyers and Phantoms assistant general manager Paul Holmgren will be the guest on the Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features an interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM). Fans can listen on the radio or online at www.wnjc1360.com.

Hosted by David Unkle of the Topcat Sports Show on WNJC 1360-AM, the Phantoms Postgame Show lets you get up close and personal with your favorite Phantoms players following 24 games throughout the season. PHANTOMS HAVE BEST ATTENDANCE WEEKEND IN FIVE YEARS

The Phantoms drew a total of 25,373 fans for their games last Friday and Sunday for the team's most successful weekend at the gate in five years. A season-high crowd of 13,226 attended Friday's 4-1 win over Hershey, which featured the club's first-ever Teddy Bear Toss. Thousands of stuffed animals were thrown onto the ice following Philadelphia's first goal of the night, and are being distributed by the Phantoms to local children's hospitals and shelters in the Philadelphia area. Philadelphia returned to action on Sunday afternoon and had 12,147 people at the Wachovia Spectrum for a 3-2 loss to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The first 4,000 kids (14 & under) received an Antero Niittymaki bobblehead doll, courtesy of Wachovia.

MEXICAN VACATION GIVEAWAY REGISTRATION UNDER WAY

Apple Vacations will be giving away a free trip for four to Cancun, Mexico on Fan Appreciation Night on April 17 at the Wachovia Spectrum, as the Phantoms face the Norfolk Admirals in their final home game of the regular season at 5:05 p.m. Registration for the trip, which will include airfare and accommodations at Sol Melia resorts for five days and four nights, as well as all meals, drinks and tips, is under way at the Apple Vacations table set up on the concourse.

REGISTRATION UNDER WAY TO WIN HARLEY DAVIDSON

Stop by the Harley Davidson motorcycle display on the concourse to register to win a customized Harley Davidson Sportster. The winner will be presented their new motorcycle on Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday, April 17 when the Phantoms take on the Norfolk Admirals.

TEAM BRACELETS; PUCKS & KISSES ON SALE FOR CHARITY

Comcast-Spectacor Charities is now selling special team-related silicone bracelets of the Phantoms, Flyers and 76ers. The bracelets can be purchased at home games or ordered through the individual team websites, including www.phantomshockey.com, or by calling 215-389-9426. Each bracelet is a different color and has a different word for each team, including the purple "Dream" bracelet of the Phantoms, and each is $2 apiece. The bracelets have been an overwhelming success and the demand has been greater than the supply, so the Flyers Wives ask that fans please be patient in the delivery.
