
Petes Find Offence against Sting to Snap Streak

(Peterborough, ON) - Six different Petes scored to in a 6-3 win over the Sarnia Sting, snapping a four game losing skid at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Saturday night.
Cameron Butler (11), Shawn Spearing (2), and Ryan Merkley (7) scored in the first period, while Nick Robertson (17), John Parker-Jones (1), and Chad Denault (5) had goals in the second frame.
Erik ?ermák, Semyon Der-Arguchintsev, Michael Little, and Chris Paquette each recorded two assists. Robertson, Cole Fraser, and Max Grondin had single helpers.
Final shots were 37-34 in favour of the Petes. Hunter Jones stopped 31 of 34 shots. The Petes were 2/6 on the power play and 4/5 on the penalty kill.
The Petes return to action on Thursday, January 24 at 7:05pm when they host Peterborough native Owen Tippett and the Saginaw Spirit. Tickets are available through the Baker Tilly Box Office in person, over the phone at (705) 743-3561, and online.
