SAGINAW, MI - The Otters finished up their three-in-three weekend in Saginaw on Saturday night, where they took on the Spirit. Saginaw opened the scoring around ten minutes in with a goal from Owen Tippett. This was soon followed by a pair of goals by Cole Coskey and Reagan O'Grady to put the Spirit ahead 3-0 after one.
In the second, Saginaw padded their lead with goals from Jake Goldowski and Damien Giroux, and Erie broke through with a goal from Danial Singer to make it 5-1 going into the final period.
In the third period, Danny Katic would find the back of the net for Saginaw, and Daniel D'Amato would add a second goal for Erie, who would lose this one 6-2 in Saginaw.
