
Petes Claim Victory over Battalion

(Peterborough, ON) - Hunter Jones turned away 30 of 31 shots to backstop the Petes to their fourth consecutive win and a 4-1 victory over the visiting North Bay Battalion on Thursday night.
Brady Hinz (9) and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (3) scored late in the first period. North Bay responded with their only goal of the night before rookies Cameron Butler (6) and Erik ?ermák (4) added tallies.
Defencemen Declan Chisholm and Cole Fraser recorded two assists each, while ?ermák, Adam Timleck, Nick Robertson, and Matt McNamara registered single assists.
Grondin (4,5,6), who was recently acquired from the Saginaw Spirit, had his first multi-goal game of his OHL career. Arizona Coyotes prospect Liam Kirk scored one goal, his fifth in three games. Austin Osmanski (2) and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (2) also tallied single markers.
The Petes head north to face the Sudbury Wolves on Friday, November 30 at 7:05pm. They return to home ice on Thursday, December 6 at 7:05pm to host the Hamilton Bulldogs for Teddy Bear Toss Night.
