
Peterson nets pair as Penguins halt Ducks winning streak

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Toby Peterson scored a pair of goals to lead the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 3-1 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Sunday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Tom Kostopoulos had a goal and an assist for the Penguins, who ended a six-game road winless streak and won for the first time in seven tries in Cincinnati (1-6-0-0). Milan Kraft, a first-round pick by Pittsburgh in 1998, chipped in with a pair of assists.
Jean-Sebastien Aubin, assigned February 27 by Pittsburgh, stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced to earn his first AHL victory of the season.
Travis Brigley provided the lone goal for Cincinnati, which had its five-game winning streak stopped.
Jean-Francois Damphousse surrendered all three goals on 26 shots in defeat.
