
Bulldogs Reach 100-Point Plateau

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs became the first team in the AHL this season to reach the 100 point mark as they shut out the Manitoba Moose (affiliate of Vancouver Canucks) 1-0 in front of 7,025 fans at Copps Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.
Through 65 games the Bulldogs have earned a record of 45 wins, 10 losses, 6 ties and 4 overtime losses. Also with the win the Bulldogs have now tied franchise records for home wins (23) and home points (52). The original records were set last season.
Bulldogs' goaltender Eric Fichaud made 24 saves to earn his third shutout of the season.
Scoring the Bulldogs' lone goal on Sunday afternoon was defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron. The goal came at the 15:07 mark of the first period. Tomas Plekanec and Michael Ryder earned assists on the goal.
This week the Bulldogs will travel to Saint John to face-off against the Flames for a pair of games. The Bulldogs will take on the Flames on Wednesday, March 5th and Friday, March 7th.
