Perrucci Dubbed 'Mover and Shaker' by Atlantic City Weekly

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (July 25, 2003) – The Whoot's Atlantic City Weekly magazine has named Surf general manager and CEO Mario Perrucci as one of its "Movers and Shakers" as a part of the publication's 30th anniversary issue for the week of July 24-30.

Perrucci was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the Surf and to the Atlantic City area.

The article highlights his charitable work for the local Brigantine Sons of Italy chapter, a group in which he joined in 1995 and assumed presidency of in 1999.

Perrucci has been an integral part of the Atlantic City Surf organization since 1998, first as a member of the game day staff and in the Group Sales department before assuming the role of assistant general manager prior to the 2000 season. He was named the team's general manager near the conclusion of that season.

A former International Vice President of the Teamsters and Vietnam veteran, Perrucci and his family have resided in Brigantine for the past 21 years.

"I thank the Atlantic City Weekly for receiving this outstanding honor and congratulate all the other ‘Movers and Shakers' that were recognized," said Perrucci. "I will continue to serve my community to the best of my ability as well as promote professional baseball in South Jersey."

Among the other people recognize by the Atlantic City Weekly include casino mogul Donald Trump, AtlantiCare president and CEO George F. Lynn, Casino Reinvestment Development Authority deputy director Yvonne Bonitto-Doggett, and WMGM TV-40 general manager Jane Stark.
