LANSING, Mich. - Lansing Lugnuts catcher Carlos Perez and pitcher David Rollins were involved in the Toronto Blue Jays' 10-player trade with the Houston Astros on Friday, netting pitchers J.A. Happ, Brandon Lyon and David Carpenter for Toronto.

In addition to the Lugnuts duo, the Jays included Major League pitcher Francisco Cordero and outfielder Ben Francisco and Minor League prospects Asher Wojciechowski, Joe Musgrove and a player to be named later in the deal.

Perez will be assigned to the Lancaster JetHawks in the Class A-Advanced California League, while Rollins, who was on the Lugnuts' 7-day Disabled List, will be assigned to the Lexington Legends in the Class-A South Atlantic League.

The Lugnuts' roster now consists of 22 active players, three beneath the maximum, as well as four players on the Disabled List and one on the Temporarily Inactive List.
