Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats are back in action this weekend with a pair of games beginning tonight in Swift Current against the Broncos, a 7:00pm start from the Credit Union I-Plex.
Saturday night, the Lethbridge Hurricanes are at the Brandt Centre to take on the Pats for "Rick Hansen Night." The Man In Motion 25th anniversary tour makes a stop in Regina on Saturday, but the festivities begin today at the Brandt Centre at 2pm with a sledge hockey demonstration with the Canadian National Sledge Hockey developmental team. The media are encouraged to participate with these world class athletes.
Saturday before the puck drops between the Pats and Hurricanes, there will be a pre-game ceremony saluting Rick Hansen and the anniversary of his Man In Motion world tour. The Canadian National Sledge Hockey developmental team will also take to the ice during one of the intermissions.

This is the fifth of six meetings this season between the Pats and the Broncos with Regina taking the three of the first four meetings. The last time these two teams met was a week ago today, with the Broncos winning for the first time in two seasons at the Brandt Centre 3-2.

This is the third of four meetings this season between the Pats and the Hurricanes. The last time these two teams met was way back on October 7th at the Brandt Centre in a 5-4 Pats win in a shootout.
Quick 'Canes bits:
- There are two former members of the Regina Pats on the Hurricanes in goaltender Damien Ketlo and forward Graham Hood.
- 19 year old Brody Sutter is the Hurricanes captain and the lone player drafted by an NHL team. Brody was taken in the 7th round of the 2011 NHL Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes.
- Current Regina Pats 20 year old forward, Matt Marantz, played 6 games with the Hurricanes before coming to the Pats in a trade in October. Marantz had an assist against the Pats in the Hurricanes 5-4 loss at the Brandt Centre on October 7th.
