Pats Quieted at Prince Albert

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats dropped to 3-3-0-0 on the road this season after a 6-2 loss in Prince Albert to the league leading Raiders on Saturday night.

The Raiders scored three times in the first period, getting even strength goals from Sean Montgomery, Justin Nachbaur and Brett Leason and it was 3-0 after 20 minutes. The Raiders added three more in the second, one on the powerplay and two short-handed to lead 6-0, before Nick Henry got the Pats on the board with his fifth and it was 6-1 after two. In the third, Garrett Wright scored on a partial breakaway for his first career WHL goal and the Raider lead was cut to 6-2 and that was the final.

The Raiders outshot the Pats 29-21 in the win and improved to 3-0-0-0 in the season series. The Regina powerplay was oh for the three, the penalty kill two for three and Dean McNabb made 23 saves.

The Pats (3-11-0-0) will wrap up their three in three weekend Sunday afternoon for Breast Cancer Awareness Night against the Swift Current Broncos at 4 p.m. at the Brandt Centre.
