Head-to-Head
Tonight marks the end of another season in the best rivalry in junior hockey as the Pats and Warriors face off for the final time this season. The Pats hold a 4-2-0-1 record against the Warriors in the 2012-13 campaign including their most recent meetings, back-to-back wins in a home and home with Moose Jaw. Morgan Klimchuk leads the Pats with eleven points (6G, 5A) in seven games against Moose Jaw. Sam Fioretti is the top Warrior with seven points (2G, 5A) in seven games. The Blue and White look to rebound from an 8-7 OT loss to Saskatoon on Saturday when they gave up a four goal lead in the third. The Warriors head into this contest on a two game slide after a 4-1 loss to Edmonton on Saturday. Tonight's game will be broadcast on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m.
Lead Up: Pats Can't Hold Lead in 8-7 OT Loss to Saskatoon
The Pats were on a roll, scoring twice in the late stages of the second period to take a 7-3 lead to the third period in Saskatoon. The Blue and White couldn't keep it up as the Blades stormed back in the final frame, scoring four times to square the contest, 7-7, and force overtime. After both teams had some good chances, Brenden Walker completed the comeback, scoring the OT winner and totaling four points on the night. For game highlights, click here.
