
Oakes and Sideroff Join Blazers

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have added 17-year-old forward Devin Oakes and 15-year-old forward Deven Sideroff to the roster. Oakes played this season with the Kamloops Storm of the KIJHL, while Sideroff is playing for the Okanagan Hockey Academy Midget Prep team based out of Penticton.
Sideroff was listed by the Blazers following 2012 Fall Training Camp. The native of Summerland, BC has played 49 games this season and has 18 goals, 37 assists for 55 points. Sideroff will be with the Blazers for the week and return back to his Midget team on Sunday. He will wear #17.
Oakes was listed by the Blazers in July 2011. His year has been cut short due to injuries this season. Oakes played 32 games this season scoring eight times and adding 13 assists for 21 points. He also suited up for one game for the Blazers back in early January. The Prince Rupert native will wear #23 and be with the Blazers for the rest of the season.
