Luis Montanez Signed By Los Angeles Angels Of Anaheim

Outfielder Luis Montanez has had his contract purchased by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and reported to Double-A.

In his first game on Thursday night at Double-A, Montanez went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and four RBI.

Montanez was among the league leaders with his .313 batting average, 39 runs scored, 63 hits, 13 doubles, six home runs, and 41 RBI in 52 games played.

The Somerset Patriots are offering fans with unused tickets or vouchers the opportunity exchange them for select home games this season.

Unused Tickets and Exchange Dates have been scheduled for the following games:

Tuesday, June 25th at 5:05 pm - Double Header (Two 7 Inning Games) with Tote Bags for first 2,000 fans

Monday, July 22nd at 7:05 pm- Sparkee's 15th Birthday Celebration

Tuesday, August 27th at 7:05 pm- Bark In The Park Night

Sunday, September 15th at 1:05 pm- Diabetes Awareness Day

Patriots To Host Girl Scout Nights

The Somerset Patriots have announced that they will host two Girl Scout Nights during the 2013 season.

The first Girl Scout Night is Saturday, June 29th and the second is Saturday, August 17th. Both games are set to begin at 7:05 pm.

Bark In The Park Dates Scheduled For The Season The Somerset Patriots have announced that they will host three Bark in the Nights during the 2013 season.

The first Bark in the Park Night is Monday, June 24th at 7:05 pm and the remaining two dates are Tuesday, July 23rd and Tuesday, August 27th both at 7:05 pm.
