Hartford Yard Goats News Release
Hartford, CT - The Hartford Yard Goats were denied a fourth straight win, as the New York Yankees new Double-A affiliate, the Somerset Patriots got a 2-run homer in the ninth inning to complete a 2-1 victory on Tuesday night at Dunkin' Donuts Park. First baseman Dermis Garcia smashed his third home run of the season over the left field fence with a man on in Somerset's final at bat of the evening. Hartford starter Will Gaddis fired six scoreless innings with six strikeouts.
