CF Daniel Amaral broke a up a scoreless game in the sixth inning when he demolished a 1-0 offering from Harrisburg starter Carson Teel over the wall in left-center. It was Amaral's first home run of the campaign and marked the ninth straight game in which the Curve hit a home run, the longest such streak since the 2005 Altoona Curve set the franchise record with a home run in ten consecutive games stretching from April 25 - May 5 of that season.

Banks hit a low line drive to center field that Daniel Amaral was unable to grab as he dove for the ball, allowing Banks to reach second. O'Reill got Humberto Arteaga to fly out to right end the game and strand the tying runner in scoring position.
