
Papp to Play for Team Hungary in WJC

Middleton, WI - Forward Kristof Papp of the Madison Capitols has been selected by his home country of Hungary to represent them at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship this season.
Papp, 17, has played in all 19 games for Madison this season, compiling three goals and adding two more assists. Out of those three goals, two have come in crunch time for game-winners.
Papp and the rest of Team Hungary will participate in Division 1B in Tychy, Poland from December 8ththrough 14th. Kristof is set to return to the Capitols following the Christmas Break.
The Capitols will return to action this weekend, and come home for two games next weekend for $1 beer night on Friday and Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday.
