
Panthers Send Dadonov To San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (December 10, 2011) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that forward Evgenii Dadonov has been reassigned to San Antonio (AHL). The Rampage announced that they have recalled Anthony Luciani from their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones, and have reassigned forward AJ Jenks to Cincinnati. In addition, the Rampage have released Brian Sutherby from his professional try-out (PTO).
Dadonov, 22, has recorded four points (3 goals, 1 assist) in nine games with the Rampage this season. The Chelyabinsk, Russia native has played in 12 games with Florida (NHL) this season posting two goals. He was selected by the Florida Panthers in the third round (71st overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Luciani, 21, leads Cincinnati with 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists) in 16 games with the Cyclones this season. The Maple, Ontario native was listed on the Rampage's opening night roster but was reassigned to Cincinnati on Oct. 12 without logging any games in San Antonio. Last season he posted three points (2 goals, 1 assist) in three AHL games with Rochester to finish the 2010-11 campaign.
Jenks, 21, has appeared in 16 Rampage games this season tallying eight penalty minutes. He rejoins the Cincinnati Cyclones where he has played in seven games with the Cyclones posting one assist and four penalty minutes. The Wolverine Lake, Mich. native skated in 71 games with Rochester (AHL) posting eight goals and 12 assists during his rookie season in 2010-11. He was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 5th round (100th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rampage return to the AT&T Center tonight with a matchup against Peoria at 7 p.m. and host Charlotte at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday to complete a three-in-three series. Tonight's game features the Rampage's 8th annual Salute to the Badges Night in which the team will honor local fire fighters and law enforcement officials by wearing themed jerseys to benefit The Little Fighter Foundation.
