Kings Announce Player Transactions

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have activated defenseman Willie Mitchell from the injured reserve list (lower body injury) and have assigned forward Ethan Moreau to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Mitchell has missed the last three games due to the injury, which he suffered on December 1 in a game against Florida. In 25 games this season, he has six points (1-5=6), six penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating. Mitchell is expected to play on Saturday.

Moreau, who cleared waivers on Saturday morning, had four points (1-3=4) and 20 penalty minutes in 28 games this season.
