
Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY (December 10, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Kevin King has been recalled from the Elmira Jackals (ECHL). Additionally, the club has signed defenseman Trevor Ludwig to a professional tryout contract.
King, 21, has appeared in five games for the Crunch this year going scoreless with two penalty minutes. He has also played in eight games with Elmira totaling five points (1g, 4a). Prior to this season King played for the Kootenay Ice of the WHL where he collected 227 career points (95g, 132a) in 335 games.
Ludwig, 26, has played eight games for the Allen Americans (CHL) this season totaling three points (2g, 1a). He has appeared in 138 career AHL games totaling 18 points (4g, 14a) with Iowa, Manitoba, Texas and Norfolk. Prior to playing professionally Ludwig spent four years playing for Providence College.
The Crunch return home to the War Memorial Arena on December 10th to take on the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. The 10th is also the Stanley Steemer Tired Teddy Toss, bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to toss for a chance to win $500 gift card to Carousel Center. Stuffed animals will be collected and refurbished by Stanley Steemer before being donated to the Salvation Army.
