Colorado Eagles News Release

WINDSOR, CO – Head Coach Chris Stewart of the Colorado Eagles of the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that right winger and 2004 Dodge CHL All-Star starter, Greg Pankewicz, along with defenseman Igor Bondarevs will return to the Eagles line up tomorrow night against the Odessa Jackalopes. The Eagles face off against the Jackalopes tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. (MST). The teams will skate against each other Saturday at 1:15 p.m. (MST) for a rematch scheduled to air on UPN 20, coverage beginning at 1:00 p.m. (MST).

"This is great news for our team right now," stated Stewart. "We have been short on the bench for a while, so having Pankewicz and Bondarevs back in the line up will help our efforts on the ice tremendously."

The Colorado Eagles are currently 23-10-2 with 48 points. The Eagles are in first place in the Northwest Division (Oklahoma City is second with 39 points), and second overall in the CHL tied with Amarillo. Pankewicz and left winger Ryan Tobler each have 53 points, placing them joint third for points in the league.
