
P-Bruins, Worcester face off on Friday the 13th

The Providence Bruins return to action on home ice on Friday, February 13 at 7:05 p.m., when they host an Atlantic Division battle with their Rte. 146 rivals, the Worcester IceCats. The teams are separated by one point in the division standings. The Bruins are in second place with their 22-16-10-2 record (56 points), while Worcester is tied with the Manchester Monarchs for third place (22-18-10-1; 55 points). Friday's game will be the 100th all-time between the Bruins and IceCats. The all-time series is deadlocked at 43-43-13.
Friday's game will be televised live on COX 3. Providence broadcaster Corey Masse will handle the play-by-play duties, while longtime college and professional analyst Bob Norton will be the color analyst. Adam Alper will call the game on radio on WDDZ AM-550.
The Bruins will have a rare Saturday off before returning to action on Sunday at 4:05 p.m., when they host the Manchester Monarchs. They will also host a special holiday 4:05 p.m. game on Monday against the Norfolk Admirals.
