Otters Select Defenseman Nathan Sauder 54th in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection
June 4, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Erie Otters News Release
Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie Otters Hockey Club announced today the selection of defenseman Nathan Sauder from the Mississauga Reps U16AAA 54th overall in the 2021 OHL Priority Section presented by Real Canadian Superstore.
The 2021 Ontario Hockey League Priority continues on Saturday, June 5th at 9 AM with Round 4-15. The Otters will have another 13 picks.
"Nathan is a very athletic individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic. A right-shot defenseman that plays a physical brand of hockey, making things hard on opponents in the corners, along the walls, and in front of the net. Nathan uses his stick effectively to angle opponents, taking away time and space, and backs it up with his body. In addition, Nathan produces an excellent first pass, making it easy for his forwards to transition to offense. Welcome to the Otters organization Nathan," said Devin Brown, Co-Director of Scouting.
