
Otters Game Tonight Cancelled

Crestwood, IL--Tonight's game against the Windy City Thunderbolts has been cancelled. It will be made up tomorrow as part of a doubleheader with the first pitch scheduled for 1:05 P.M. CDT. Both games will be seven inning affairs. Tyler Vail (1-0, 7.36 ERA) will go Game One for the Otters and Efrain Nieves (2-0, 0.00) is scheduled to pitch in Game Two.
If the Otters split or sweep the doubleheader they will have won four series in a row. The team has won their last two games and nine of their last ten. Kurt Wertz Jr. has reached base in eleven straight games after singling in his third at-bat last night while both Shayne Houck and Ronnie Richardson are riding eight game hit streaks.
