Erie Otters News Release
SARNIA, ON - The Otters were back in action Friday night in Sarnia, where they took on the Sting in the middle of a three-in-three road trip. The teams traded opportunities throughout the opening frame, but it was Sarnia who would eventually strike first with a goal from Calvin Martin to put the home team ahead 1-0.
In the second, Colton Kammerer padded the Sarnia lead with a goal around the midpoint of the period. Ryan Martin got Erie on the board minutes later, but would be quickly answered by Colton Kammerer, who scored his second goal of the night to put the Sting ahead by two once again
In the third, Gera Poddubnyi would find the back of the net for Erie to bring them within one goal of tying, but it proved to be too little, too late and the Otters were defeated 3-2 in Sarnia.
The Otters will head to Saginaw tomorrow where they will take on the Spirit at 7:05PM.
