Washington, PA - Washington dropped Evansville for the second straight night in similar fashion, punishing the Otters with the long ball in a 9-3 victory.

Wild Things first baseman Ernie Banks got the scoring started with a monster solo home run in the first inning. The offense in between was highlighted by an RBI triple from Michael Parker and an RBI single from Phil Laurent.

The Otters picked up their first run in the second inning, as Greg Alexander led off with a double and scored on Cameron Satterwhite's double, tying the game at 1-1. They picked up another run on Andre Liscinsky's two-out RBI single in the fourth inning, scoring Frank Meade from third base and cutting the Wild Things' lead to 3-2. Washington would pull away with four runs in the next two innings though.

Otters' starter Dustin Renfrow (3-2) lasted five innings, giving up five earned runs on six hits. The Wild Things' Zach Groh (1-3) earned his first win of the season, tossing seven innings and surrendering only two earned runs.
