Evansville Otters News Release

LOOK BACK AT LAST GAME: The Evansville Otters lost a fog-short- ened game 10-0 against the Traverse City Beach Bums on Tuesday night. The game was halted in the bottom of the eighth inning when a thick fog moved in from left field and limited the eyesight of the fielders. It was a close game all the way until the eighth inning. Traverse City scored a run in the first, second, and sixth innings, be- fore scoring seven runs in the eighth. The Evansville Otters offense failed to get anything going against Traverse City right-hander Jake Sabol as the team would amount to just four hits on the night and be shutout for the first time this season. MOVING ON UP: First baseman Andrew Clark's contract was purchased by the Chica- go White Sox on Wednesday. The Otters have promoted over 50 players to affiliated base- ball. Clark who was hitting .643 over the first four games will report to Kannapolis (Class A).

DOUBLEHEADER DANDYS: The Evansville Otters will play in their first doubleheader of the season today. Typically doubleheaders are split with each team winning one of the two games. Evansville will be looking to con- tinue their magic from last season when the team was 10-2 in doubleheaders.

WELCOME BACK: Right-handed pitcher Bryce Morrow will be facing off against his former team (Traverse City) for just the second time in his career. Morrow was a rookie with the Beach Bums in 2011 going 1-0 with a 6.35 ERA over six appearances.
