January 26, 2013 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Binghamton Senators News Release
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that TEAM 1200, the flagship radio station of the Ottawa Senators, will join the Senators Broadcast Network for an additional 16 games this season.
TEAM 1200 is a part of the Senators Broadcast Network for a third time during the 11-year player affiliation agreement between Ottawa and Binghamton. TEAM 1200 first carried B-Sens action periodically during the 2004-05 NHL lockout that lasted the entire season. TEAM 1200 carried the entire slate of post-season action in the spring of 2011 as the Binghamton Senators captured the city's first AHL championship, winning the Calder Cup in a six-game final series against the Houston Aeros. Most recently, TEAM 1200 carried B-Sens action earlier this season with the NHL lockout ongoing before being resolved January 6th.
The voice of the Binghamton Senators, Grady Whittenburg, provides the play-by-play for every Senators broadcast in his tenth season behind the microphone with the club.
