GRAND JUNCTION, CO. - The Missoula Osprey (10-13) fell behind early en route to a 12-2 loss to the Grand Junction Rockies (13-10) at Suplizio Field. The Rockies scored two runs in both the first and second innings off Missoula starter Brad Keller (0-2) and then exploded for eight runs in the third inning to cap their scoring.

Kevin Cron led the Osprey with a 3-4 night and his ninth inning double produced one of two Missoula RBI on the night. Fernery Ozuna also chipped in an RBI single in the sixth inning in his 2-4 game at the plate. Missoula totaled nine hits and all but Cron's double went down as a single.

Kevin Simmons came on in relief of Brad Keller and gave up three runs in the third inning but would set down the Rockies in order over his next three innings of relief. Lawrence Pardo and Wagner Mateo each delivered a scoreless inning of relief.

Grand Junction finished with thirteen hits led by Luis Castro's three-hit night that included a grand slam in the third.

Carlos Hernandez gets the start for Missoula tomorrow and is 1-0 with a 2.33 ERA this season.
