Orlando Pride Selects Ashlyn Harris in Expansion Draft

BOYDS, MD - With the second pick in the NWSL Expansion Draft, Orlando Pride selected Ashlyn Harris from the Washington Spirit. In three seasons, Harris played in 46 games for the Spirit and made 198 saves.

"Ashlyn was a tremendous asset to our club on the field and with the fans," said Spirit COO Ashlee Comber. "We are sad to see her leave, but understood that she wanted an opportunity to play near home. We wish her all the best and thank her for everything she gave to the Spirit these last three years."

The Pride also selected Meghan Klingenberg (Seattle Reign FC), Taryn Hemmings (Chicago Red Stars), Jasmyne Spencer (Western New York Flash), Jamia Fields (Western New York Flash), Cami Levin (Sky Blue FC), Lianne Sanderson (Portland Thorns FC), Toni Pressley (Houston Dash), Maddy Evans (Boston Breakers) and Aubrey Bledsoe (Sky Blue FC). Klingenberg was immediately sent to Portland Thorns FC as part of an earlier trade.
