Orlando City Acquires No. 8 Selection in 2021 MLS SuperDraft

January 21, 2021 - Major League Soccer (MLS) - Orlando City SC News Release

ORLANDO, Fla.   - Ahead of the 2021 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, Orlando City SC moved up in the draft, acquiring the No. 8 selection from Portland Timbers. In exchange, the Lions will send a total of $100,000 in General Allocation Money to the Timbers - $75,000 in 2021 and $25,000 in 2022.

Following the trade, City now holds the No. 8, No. 19, No. 22 and No. 49 selections.
