Nashville SC Selects Five Players in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, Presented by Adidas, from Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club continued to build its roster today by selecting University of Virgina forward Irakoze Donasiyano with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas. Broadcasting live from club partner Hard Rock Café Nashville, the club also selected defenders Tom Judge and Sondre Norheim, goalkeeper Tor Saunders and forward Leroy Enzugusi.

Donasiyano (EAR-uh-coh-zee Doh-nas-ee-ah-no), played four seasons at Virginia, including a condensed 2020 campaign. The No. 20 overall pick appeared in 58 matches for the Cavaliers and becoming one of four players to play every match in the last two seasons. The forward scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Pacific on opening night, becoming the first Cavalier with a brace in the season opener since 2009.

With the ninth pick the Second Round of the SuperDraft, Nashville selected defender Tom Judge from James Madison University. As a junior for the Bulldogs Judged was named to First Team All-Atlantic Region and First Team All-CAA. In his career, Judge played in 56 matches registering three goals and four assists as a defender.

In the Third Round, Nashville selected defender Sondre Norheim with the 19th pick, goalkeeper Tor Saunders with the 20th pick and finished the day by selecting forward Leroy Enzugusi with the 32nd pick, concluding the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas.

Norheim, 23, appeared in 59 matches for Syracuse leading the Orangemen to six shutouts in his junior season. Saunders wrapped his collegiate career at Coastal Carolina after spending four seasons with the University of Akron. Saunders concluded his senior season with a 6W-1L-1D record and a microscopic 0.60 goals against average.

Enzugusi joins the 2021 SuperDraft class after a standout career at Drake University. In three seasons, he scored 21 goals including back-to-back eight goal seasons. In total Enzugusi appeared in 52 matches and earned All-MVC First Team in both of his final seasons.
