New England Revolution News Release

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution selected two players in Thursday's 2021 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas. The Revolution selected University of Pittsburgh forward Edward Kizza (24th overall) in Round One, followed by Manhattan College defender Francois Dulysse (51st overall) in Round Two. New England passed with its 78th-overall selection in Round Three.

Kizza, 22, scored 31 goals in 53 appearances over three seasons at the University of Pittsburgh from 2017-19. The 5-foot-9 forward led the Panthers in scoring during his sophomore and junior seasons, tallying 15 and 12 goals in 2018 and 2019, respectively. A two-time All-ACC First-Team selection, Kizza was one of four Panthers to appear in all 20 of Pittsburgh's contests in 2019 as he finished fourth in the ACC in goals (12) and shots on goal (31), as well as fifth in points (28). His five game-winning goals that season also ranked third in the conference. Kizza's additional accolades include All-ACC Freshman Team recognition in 2017, two All-ACC Academic Team selections, and an All-South Region Second Team nod in 2018.

Dulysse, 21, appeared in 38 games over four seasons between the University of Central Florida and Manhattan College. The 6-foot-1 defender, who signed a USL League One contract with Revolution II in December 2020, logged 23 appearances at Central Florida before transferring to Manhattan ahead of the 2019 season. He also made nine appearances in USL League Two with the Treasure Coast Tritons (2019) and the Portland Timbers U-23 side (2018). Born in Lexington, Ky., Dulysse has represented Haiti at the youth international level and has earned call-ups at the Under-20 and Under-23 levels, including three starts with Haiti's U-20 side during 2018 Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers.
