
Opening Night Sellout Expected

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder announced today that less than 1200 tickets remain for Saturday's home opener with the Oklahoma City Blazers.
The Thunder office, located at 300 S. Sycamore inside Lawrence Dumont Stadium, will be open on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Face-off for the game is set for 7:15 p.m.
T-95 will begin the day with a tailgate party in front of the Kansas Coliseum at 5:00 p.m. The tailgate party will feature soft drinks and a live performance by the band Tainted. Doors open for the game at 6:00 p.m. and it is advised to get there early, as long lines are expected.
Following the game, the Kansas Coliseum and Papa John's Pizza will host an after party with the Thunder players in the Sam Fulco Pavilion (pavilion one). Again food and drinks will be available. The after party, which will go until 1:00 a.m., will feature a live performance by the band Four Man Scramble. Tickets for the after party are $5 with your Thunder ticket stub and $10 without.
