Ontario Reign Game Preview: Reign Ring in Holiday Season with Annual Teddy Bear Toss Tonight

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), take on the San Diego Gulls tonight at 6:00 p.m. PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Smart Solar Power Teddy Bear Toss. Tonight is the fourth of 12 meetings between the two teams this season.
Smart Solar Power Teddy Bear Toss:
Bring a new or gently used plush toy to toss on the ice after the Reign score their first goal. The toys will be collected and donated to Toys for Tots.
Back to Winning Ways:
The Ontario Reign head into tonight's contest on a four-game winning streak, their fourth winning streak (three or more games) of the season. The longest stretch ran five games from October 10 to October 24.
Gravel Paving the Way:
Defenseman Kevin Gravel, who scored the game-winning goal in overtime last Sunday against San Jose, enters tonight's contest on a four-game point streak (one goal, four assists).
Backman and Samuels-Thomas Take Over:
With forward Michael Mersch (12 goals) up with the Kings and rookie Adrian Kempe (seven goals) with Sweden in the World Junior Championships, forwards Sean Backman and Jordan Samuels-Thomas take over the team lead with five goals each.
Brodzinski Cashing In:
After grabbing two assists in his first 17 games, forward Jonny Brodzinski is currently riding a three-game point streak (two goals, one assist).
