Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 6:00 PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tonight is the second of four regular-season meetings between the two teams.

Picking Up Points: The Reign enter tonight's contest on a four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1-0).

Checkmate: Former Checker turned Reign forward T.J. Hensick celebrates his 31st birthday tonight against his former squad. Ironically, he scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal against the Checkers last Saturday in a 3-2 win after scoring the Checkers' Teddy Bear Toss goal last season.

Oh How I Want to Break Free: After going goalless in 11 games, forward Michael Mersch has three goals in his last four contests. Mersch lead the Reign last season with 24 tallies.

Snapping the Skid: With an assist last night in Tucson, forward Adrian Kempe snapped an eight-game pointless streak.

Purcell Punching Through: In his first two games with the Reign, forward Teddy Purcell has a goal and an assist including the game-winning tally in overtime against the Tucson Roadrunners on Wednesday.
